Meet our Team of Teachers

Our course tutors are made up of Irish teachers, Apple Professional Learning Specialists, Apple Distinguished Educators and Microsoft Innovative Educators who have extensive experience and expertise in using technology to enhance teaching and learning.

Seán Glynn

Chief Learning Officer
Seán is a primary school teacher in Scoil Bhríde BNS, Dublin. He has an MSc in Learning and Technology from TCD as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Leadership & Management from Maynooth University. Seán is Chief Learning Officer for Wriggle Connect. He is also a certified Apple Professional Learning Specialist and Microsoft Expert Educator.


Jamie Johnston

Head of Educator Development
Jamie is a primary school teacher who started his teaching career in Scotland and then the UAE. He played an integral part in Repton Abu Dhabi's adoption of technology in the classroom. Jamie has a passion for the impact technology can have on education and now works for Wriggle Learning as our Teacher Engagement Manager. Jamie is a certified Apple Professional Learning Specialist and Microsoft Innovative Educator.

Simon Close

School Development Director
Simon is School Development Director in Wriggle Learning. He has supported schools with their implementation of technology since 2012 and leads the team that has built Wriggle Connect. Simon is an advocate for technology in education and believes when properly supported, can have a transformative effect on teaching and learning.

Joanna Smith

Primary Teacher
Joanna is a primary school teacher who taught for 14 years in Holy Rosary Primary School in Tallaght. She is a firm advocate of the importance of providing opportunities for educators to collaborate and learn from each other. Joanna works as Events and Marketing Manager for Wriggle Learning where she organises training events and edtech publications for schools and colleges.

Michael O'Kane

Primary School Principal
Michael is headmaster of St. Colmcille's Primary School and Nursery in Claudy, Co. Derry. He is a certified Apple Professional Learning Specialist and has authored a number of books on coding in the classroom. He is passionate about ensuring that teachers are supported as much as possible when integrating technology.

Nora Blake

Science and Mathematics Teacher
Nora is a Science and Mathematics teacher at Galway Educate Together Secondary School. She is an avid Gaeligeoir loves using technology to teach through a second language. Nora is a certified Apple Teacher and is passionate about using technology to support all learners.

Mark McGinn

Construction Studies and DCG Teacher
Mark is the Digital Technology Coordinator in Borrisokane Community College, Co. Tipperary. He teaches Construction Studies, Wood Technology, Graphics and Digital Skills. He is passionate about innovative education specialises in using Office 365 both on the iPad and on Windows devices.

Linda McCusker

Deputy Principal
Linda is Deputy Principal in St Vincent's Secondary School, Dundalk. She is an Apple Distinguished Educator, manages the Apple Regional Training Centre in Louth and leads the iPad Programme in St. Vincent's. She is passionate about harnessing the benefits of technology for teaching and learning.

Kate Murray

Primary School Principal
Kate is Principal Teacher in St. Augustines NS, Clontuskert. She is a certified Microsoft Innovative Educator and has pioneered a progressive programme of techology use in her school, mainly around Microsoft technology and Office 365 tools for education.

Brendan Curtin

Primary School Teacher
Brendan is a primary school teacher in Mary Mother of Hope SNS, Clonee. He hails form Galway and has been teaching for 15 years. Brendan has a MSc in Digital Learning and enjoys seeing how technology can transform teaching and learning when implemented effectively.

Holly Murray

Geography and History Teacher
Holly is a Geography and History teacher in Finn Valley College, Donegal. She is a certified Apple Teacher and a certified Microsoft Innovative Educator. Holly is an expert when it comes to using technology in the classroom, with a particular passion for accessibility and inclusion.

Jimmy Kiernan

P.E. and Science Teacher
Jimmy is a PE and Science teacher in Luttrellstown Community College. He is a certified Apple Teacher and works in a school that uses 1:1 iPads for students and teachers. Jimmy used the iPad in all aspects of his teaching but is particularly proficient when it comes to PE and assessment.

Paul Cahillane

 Business and Geography Teacher
Paul is a Business and Geography teacher in St. Mary's CBS, Portlaoise. There, he is the ICT/iPad Coordinator and is also a certified Microsoft Innovative Educator Master Trainer. He is a technology in education advocate but believes technology should be used to enhance teaching and learning, not replace it. He is a strong advocate for the use of technology to bring positive reform to Leaving Cert and Irish Education.

Davina Fogarty

Gaeilge and Mathematics Teacher
Davina is a Mathematics, Gaeilge, Digital Skills and Junior Cycle Coding teacher in Borrisokane Community College. Davina is an advocate for the use of 1:1 devices to harness and enhance student creativity. She is an innovative teacher and places particular emphasis on the integration of digital technologies and 21st Century teaching and learning methodologies in her classroom.  

Geoff Brennan

DCG and Woodwork Teacher
Geoff is a DCG and Woodwork teacher in St. Mary's CBS, Portlaoise. He is a certified Apple Teacher. and an expert when it comes to using iPad and Office 365. Geoff has a passion for adapting and modernising education through the use of robust educational research in a manner which equips students with real life skills and knowledge.  

Stephen Eustace

Mathematics and Accounting Teacher
Stephen is a Mathematics an Accounting teacher, currently working with Microsoft Ireland as a Customer Success Manager. Passionate about the impactful and meaningful use of Edtech in the classroom, he loves to showcase practical examples of how to use Microsoft Education tools.

Damien Coman

Science and Mathematics Teacher
Damien is a Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Applied Mathematics teacher in Abbey Community College, Boyle. He has held an APII post in IT and Hardware in his previous school and is an expert on Office 365 and Windows. Damien has a passion for implementing technology for teaching and learning and was previously part of Wriggle's Digital Leader Programme.

Roisin Johnston

Primary School Teacher
Roisin is a primary school teacher in Holy Cross Mercy Primary School in Killarney. She is an Apple Distinguished Educator and co-manager of Kerry Apple Regional Training Centre. Roisin loves to share her extensive knowledge on how digital technologies can positively impact teaching and learning. 

Katie Ní Cheallachain

Irish and History Teacher
Katie is an Irish and History teacher in Coláiste an Phiarsaigh in Cork. She has worked in her own school to design the TY ePortfolio programme and has been a member of Wriggle's Digital Leader Programme. Katie believes technology is invaluable when it comes to creating teaching resources and supports.

Lyndsey is a MTW and ICT teacher at Swords Community College. Lyndsey is a certified Apple Professional Learning Specialist with vast experience in the use of iPad to encourage student's creativity and independent learning skills.

Sarah Gibbons

Deputy Principal
Sarah Gibbons is a Microsoft Innovative Education Expert and is the Deputy Principal in Old Bawn Community School. Sarah firmly believes that education can be, and is, enhanced through digital technologies when all stakeholders are given the opportunity to learn and explore in order to gain confidence. Sarah is very passionate about teacher education and enjoys working with teachers trying to find innovative ways to incorporate technology into their classroom in a meaningful way. 

Mark Delahunty

Primary School Teacher
Mark is a primary school teacher from Kilkenny who has been teaching for the past 13 years in Saint Mary's National School in Thomastown. He is a certified Google educator with a postgraduate in education and leadership. Mark has a real passion for ICT in education and believes that when used correctly it has an enormous benefit in enhancing learning for both students and teachers.

Dave Mulvanney

Maths, IT, Biology andAccounting Teacher
Dave is a teacher with City of Dublin ETB in Crumlin Youthreach. Over the past 10 years, he has taught Catering, Beekeeping, IT subjects, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Biology and Accounting. Dave works as TEL support for CDETB and is a TELMs mentor. He loves to learn about usable Teaching and Learning resources that will aid educators in effectively integrating technology into teaching practise.

Shane Greene

Primary School Teacher
Shane is a primary school principal based in Clooney National School, Co. Clare. He has an M. Ed and PG Dip in School Planning and is passionate about integrating effective technology in managing the organisation of the school. He is an advocate for exploring new ways of using technology to develop quality teaching and learning within the classroom. 

Julieanne de Brún

Primary School Teacher
Julie Anne is a primary school teacher in Scoil Mhuire, Maigh Cuilinn, Co na Gaillimhe. She has taught all levels and abilities in Déis schools, Gaelscoileanna and scoileanna sa Ghaeltacht. She has a Post Grad in Special Educational Needs Teaching, a Masters in ICT in Education and is passionate about promoting the Irish language through music, art, STEAM and workshops. She started an online YouTube series called An Féidir Leat? with the local Oifigeach Pleanáil Teanga and is currently promoting the use of Gaeilge in education and creating resources to support Cianmhúinteoireacht agus Cianfhoghlaim/ online teaching and learning. 

Stephen Daly

Post Primary Teacher and Head of Assessment
Stephen is a secondary school teacher and head of whole-school assessment and Head of Humanities at Cranleigh School Abu Dhabi, an international school in the United Arab Emirates. He is an Apple, G-Suite for Education, and Nearpod certified educator. Stephen has a passion for utilising digital technology to not only help enhance engagement in the classroom, but to also help support teachers to manage their workloads as time efficiently as possible. He has a keen interest in supporting the professional development of teachers and has an M.Ed in this area. 

Eoghan O Neill

Primary School teacher
Eoghan is a primary school teacher in Scoil Phádraig BNS Clane where he is also the ICT and Digital Learning Coordinator. Eoghan is a Seesaw Ambassador, Apple Teacher and a Level 1 + 2 Google Certified Educator. He is passionate about the transformative use of digital technologies in the classroom.

Conor Maxwell

Conor is a Science, Mathematics and Coding teacher in Sandymount Park Educate Together Secondary School. Conor is ICT Coordinator in his school and gives training session to both his students and fellow teachers. He is a certified Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert and Apple Certified Teacher and he believes strongly that when used effectively in the classroom, technology can have a transformational impact on student learning.

Miriam Walsh

Miriam is a certified Apple Professional Learning Specialist and an Apple Distinguished Educator with experience in the use of iPad across second level and further ed for productivity, coding, creativity and inclusion. 

Evan Dunne

History teacher
Evan is a history teacher at St.Mary’s CBS, Portlaoise and a certified Apple Teacher and Microsoft Innovative Educator. He has a huge passion for educational technology, particularly teaching through the iPad, and is always searching for new ways to improve student outcomes via the use technology.
